As the Art Director on Barbie: A Touch of Magic, I managed a core design team for character, location, FX, colourscript and DMP, and oversaw the series' visual identity through modeling, surfacing, groom and FX.
Our goal was to push the playfulness already present in the Barbie universe while injecting whimsical elements to the feminine designs we know and love. Keeping a close eye on the fun fashion and bright colours as designs were converted from toy to animation.

Colour Design
As a Designer on Pretzel and the Puppies, I produced work for characters, props, location designs and occasionally colour scripts and skydomes.
Pretzel and the Puppies had a unique visual style. Our directors wanted to homage stop motion animation through texture and a miniaturization affect in the set designs.

Location Design
As a Designer on Paw Patrol, I worked predominantly on characters, props, and occasionally location designs.
Paw Patrol was my first design role in animation, and I quickly cut my teeth there, helping the team utilize 3D for design. Shortly after, I became the department DMP Artist in addition to my design work. I worked closely with CG Supervisors for all of Paw Patrol's DMP needs on every episode.
