ABOUT THE ARTIST

I'm Chelsea, a Canadian Art Director and Designer working in animation for film and television.

As a designer, I love wearing multiple hats, working cross-functionally, and finding new ways to approach creative problem-solving. While I'm best known for character design and my use of colour, I've had the opportunity to contribute across the entire design pipeline on multiple productions. I'm excited to step into more managerial roles, supporting artists in doing their best work, and overseeing creative direction at a larger scale.

In my personal work, I explore themes of femininity and history, often playing in the intersection of horror and animation. A genre that's still overlooked in the industry, but one I hold close to my heart. Many of my personal projects live in this space.
